Monroe Street Bridge Buffalo Skull

Spokane's historic Monroe Street Bridge is home to life-size buffalo skulls, wagon wheels, wagon pavilions, and chain handrails which embody the pioneer spirit of Spokane’s earliest settlers.

This particular illustration came out of the Spokane flag design contest. After spending more than 40 hours illustrating, this was one of six that I submitted in the first round.
